Put on your running shoes and be part of the Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink, an all-female triathlon series that seeks to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation by raising funds and awareness.
To be held this 31 January 2016, race to finish line with fellow triathletes at the Runaway Bay Sports Centre. Also interact with our supportive ladies in Pink and volunteers. Whether you’re a first-timer or a pro, this event is not about who finishes first, but about falling in love with the beauty of this sport, and of course, supporting the advocacy – the continuing fight against breast cancer.
If you’re bringing along your friends and family, they can also opt to join the Fun Run Pink, which will coincide with the Triathlon series, and will be open for people of all ages.
Since it began in 2007, the supporters of the Pink Advocacy have supported chosen breast cancer charities by raising over $1.6 million. To be part of something as huge as this means so much to all its beneficiaries. So when you set a new goal this year, remember that your efforts will not just be for yourself, but more importantly for the benefit of all the breast cancer patients who are given hope in their battle against the disease.
Go ahead and register today! A designated tent on the Main playing Field at Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre will serve as the registration area. For more updates, visit http://triathlonpink.com.au/.
